The music of Franco-American, Tess Liautaud can not be easily defined. It hangs in the balance of her voice, warm like honey; it carries a depth of raw emotion, delivered with melodic grace and country soul.
Her songs are easy listening, in that Jackson Browne, dreaming of Laurel Canyon, Americana sort of way, so it would make some kind of sense that she’s found a home on the east side of Christchurch, New Zealand, among the folk singers and the rock’n’rollers.
In Paris, Liautaud has been invited on stage to sing with Glen Hansard (La Cigale) and Bruce Springsteen (Bercy), in New Zealand she has shared stages and collaborated with artists such as Delaney Davidson, Jessie Shanks & Adam McGrath (The Eastern), Marlon Williams, Holly Arrowsmith and Adam Hattaway.  And most recently, opening for Tami Neilson in Paris (New Morning)
Following sold out shows on her 12-date “Gold Digger” tour in New Zealand and chart topping singles “Here Go The Lovers » and “The Way It’s Meant to Rain”, her album “Blue Mind” was released in October 2024, through Flying Nun/Leather Jacket distribution  and reached #6 in the New Zealand Top 20 Charts, and #4 in the Independent NZ Charts. It has since received international critical acclaim.

« MORE », c’est le titre de nouvel album de PULP qu’on attend avec tant d’impatience (et qu’on fête en grandes pompes le mercredi 04  juin)…
« NEVER ENOUGH », c’est le titre de nouvel album de TURNSTILE qu’on attend avec tant d’impatience (et qu’on fête en grandes pompes le jeudi 05 juin)…

Et c’est définitivement une sorte de LEITMOTIV’ACTION qui nous colle fortement aux basques chez Balades Sonores… malgré notre paradoxale envie de faire mieux mais moins

avec pas moins de 25 artistes au programme,
pour du LIVE, de la SESSION D’ECOUTE, de la RELEASE PARTY, une EXPO et…
un gros_mini-festival à la sauce BS quoi…

BALADES SONORES ouvrira ses 2 boutiques en JUIN en mode XXL
(avec le lundi qui se rajoute à nos semaines pourtant déjà bien chargées… )
et il y aura pas 1, pas 2 mais carrément 3 dimanches de ‘cartes blanches’ à l’occasion de nombreuses festivités


JUIN 2025 = ce sont 28 jours d’ouverture sur 30 jours !
(Bref, on ne sera fermés que les dimanche 8 et 22 juin)
