South Of North present… KIM DAVID BOTS & LYCKLE DE JONG en showcase (+dj set) @ Balades Sonores

Kim David Bots and Lyckle de Jong met in the water-basin of one of the earliest concrete structures in the Netherlands, a bunker that was part of Amsterdam’s defensive line, built around the 1890’s.
Something that used to house water was now empty.
For three days they recorded improvised music that was still on a hard drive somewhere… until NOW.

Amongst others Lyckle’s music has been released by Amsterdam based record label South of North in the form of two LP’s, ‘Bij Annie Op Bezoek’ (2020) and ‘Os’ (2021).
And Kim joined the South of North roster with the release of ‘Oostwestkruisbest’ in 2023.
Now together they release The Third of May
