Drive My Car is a film based on Haruki Murakami’s short story of the same name, directed by the Silver Bear Grand Jury Prize winner Ryusuke Hamaguchi.
The film has won many film awards, including the Best Screenplay at Cannes 2021 and the Gotham Independent Film Awards.
It was selected (and WON !) as the Japanese entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 94th Academy Awards.
