All Things Return to One is the debut LP from Reptile Reptiles, the project helmed by Alexandre Bazin(GRM)and director/musician Clément Beauvais and features the voice of Gary Farmer from Jim Jarmusch’s Dead Man. A work of enveloping ambient, plangent dustbowl guitar & meditative poetry, with texts narrated by renowned Indigenous actor Gary Farmer; a homage to Farmer’s iconic turn in Jim Jarmusch’s film Dead Man.
For their first album, the duo collaborated with Indigenous actor Gary Farmer, whose evocative voice brings to life the journey of a soul returning to the land of spirits. Each track represents a stage of this ethereal passage, with Farmer’s voice, weaving a meditative, long-form poem, guiding the spirit through its successive transitions toward its ultimate destination.
Paying homage to Gary Farmer’s iconic portrayal of Nobody in Jim Jarmusch’s film Dead Man, All Things Return to One expands into a rich auditory landscape, where Alexandre Bazin’s ambient layers and textures intertwine with Clément Beauvais’ nuanced guitar work and symbolic writing.
