A savoir le 20ème Oh Sees/Thee Oh Sees/OCS album en 20 ans d’existence et la 100ème sortie le label de Dwyer, Castle Face.

Pour celui-ci, Dwyer retourne au plus près de l’incarnation de ce nom d’origine – OCS, et de sa collaboration avec Brigid Dawson, membre émérite de Thee Oh Sees.

Et c’est aussi un album radicalement différent de ce qu’il est possible d’attendre : doux, pastoral, folky, aux superbes arrangement de cordes (Heather Lockie) and de cuivres (Mikal Cronin). »

Jamais à court de lapin à faire sortir de leur gargantuesque chapeau psychédélique, les australiens hyperactifs de King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard confient la fabrication de Polygondwanaland, leur quatrième album de 2017, à qui-le-veut !

Le label belge Exag’ Records propose de le presser en vinyle (et en jaune, pressé à partir de l’acetate, s’il vous plaît), tout en reversant les bénéfices à la Pico’s Cup, un événement sportif pour des enfants avec des troubles moteurs à Bruxelles. Balades Sonores soutient l’initiative et vous propose de pré-commander votre exemplaire (sur lequel nous ne nous ferons pas d’argent non plus) !

« King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard just announced they’re inviting all indie labels to press their 4th studio album of 2017 called ‘Polygondwanaland’. And guess what? we’re answering the call. We’ll do a Belgian edition, only 300 copies. Why are we doing this? not for the money – all benefits will go to funding a sports tournament for handicapped kids in Brussels that a good friend organizes every year : Pico’s Cup – we’re just doing it because we love King Gizzard & the Wizard Lizard, it’s a very cool invitation we couldn’t decline, and we’re pretty sure you’ll be glad to have your own copy on color vinyl. ‘Because having fun is for everyone’. »

1. DIGITAL MASTERS & ARTWORK:
This is the best option if you wish to download the album for personal use. Available as high quality MP3 files 320 kbps (≈100 MB) or uncompressed WAV files (≈500 MB). Each version contains hi-res digital artwork of the front cover at 4000 x 4000 resolution.

2. CD MASTERS & ARTWORK:
If you wish to press CDs you will need to download the DDP master and CD Artwork template. The DDP master is the format used for identifying information on optical discs. This master has the tracklist, ISRC codes & metadata embedded. In this .ZIP file you will also find a folder with a CD template, front cover art and extra artwork for back cover, inner tray, spine and booklet that you will need to put together yourself.

3. VINYL MASTERS & ARTWORK:
The vinyl master is a completely seperate master to CD & Digital masters. There are physical limitations to what the head of the lathe can produce when cutting vinyl. For this reason these files will not sound normal on generic Hi Fi speakers. Only use this master if you wanna press vinyl. It will contain a Side A and a Side B WAV file as well as a PQ log for both sides with metadata for the pressing plant. In this .ZIP file you will also find a record cover template and a folder full of artwork ideas you can use to make your own back cover, spine and inner sleeve.

Fondé dans les années 1960 par le producteur du même nom, le label Moshé-Naïm s’est attelé pendant quatre décennies à mettre en valeur une conception « alternative » de la chanson française, allant jusqu’à s’aventurer vers le jazz d’avant garde, la poésie et même l’électronique expérimentale.
