Après deux EPs salués pour leur singularité (Sarah Maison en 2018, Soleils en 2021), Sarah Maison dévoile enfin son premier album : DIVAD. Une œuvre flamboyante et insaisissable, à son image – libre, hybride, intensément personnelle.

Fruit de quatre années de création, DIVAD est un manifeste d’indépendance artistique. Sarah Maison y fusionne chanson française, musique égyptienne, disco 70’s, synth-pop et pop anglaise dans un geste audacieux et sans compromis. Un équilibre étonnant entre héritage et futurisme, entre Catherine Ribeiro et Al Massrieen, Amanda Lear et Kourosh Yaghmaei.

Chaque morceau est un tableau cinématographique, où la voix théâtrale de l’artiste, à la fois impérieuse et vulnérable, porte un récit intime aux accents universels. Co-réalisé avec Steve Surmely (ingénieur du son) et Timotée Pédron (sound designer), l’album brouille les pistes et affirme une artiste hors format.
Sarah Maison ne cherche pas à coller à son époque – elle la traverse. Avec DIVAD, elle signe un premier album en majesté.

Each track is a cinematic tableau where Maison’s theatrical voice – both commanding and vulnerable – carries deeply personal narratives with universal resonance. Co-produced with Steve Surmely (sound engineer) and Timotée Pédron (sound designer), the album constantly shifts boundaries and confirms Sarah Maison as a genre-defying artist.
